HOW will we do this:
The CARE Research Team will be creating the CARE platform, through Community Engagement – by creating a long-term, two-way relationship of honesty and cooperation (“sustained engagement and participatory culture”) with the CARE Advisory Team Members and their respective networks and connections, and with collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter, and with the Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
Secondly, with open communication and sharing of ideas where contributions are respected (transparency & trust), the CARE Advisory Team will give feedback, and recommendations on what processes would work best regarding study design, recruitment, retention and concerns regarding research participation.
Lastly, the CARE Team researchers will use the response from the Community and integrate that feedback into a user centered design (careful planning and preparation) to create the CARE platform.
